Name:Lucia Ashford
Age:22 (actual age)
Apparent Age:18 (age u look)
Gender: Female
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark brown; appear to be black
Appearance: i139.photobucket.com/albums/q300/Ixbreathxnoxmore/Violet.jpg
Code Name: Erzebet (Means "Devoted to God")
Powers: Ability to see a person’s dreams or memories, and uses fast healing for defense. (Since she's schizo though, she thinks it's "God" healing her.)
Background: Lucia was born into a regular home, raised by two regular parents. Her mother was a professor at the local university, and her father worked as an accountant for a law firm. However, when Lucia was six years old, her parents discovered her ability. She had viewed the memory of a teacher at the school she attended, and had described in perfect detail what had happened the night before. Naturally, the teacher called Lucia’s parents who were more interested than frightened. They had her admitted to a hospital for studying, promising to return for her in a few days time. They never did. Lucia was kept in that hospital for two years, being subjected to numerous tests that included shock therapy, before she was able to make her escape. When she did, she fled to a church in another county, taking refuge in the attic. She listened in on all the sermons, developing a slightly fanatical nature. She lived in the attic for four more years, venturing out when it was deserted. When she was found, the church offered to take her in and let her become a nun in one of their convents. However, she accidentally used her ability on one of the priests and was thrown out of the church after being called a witch. Since then, Lucia has wandered from town to town, taking refuge in churches, abandoned buildings, and other places where she can be alone.
Anything else you'd like to add: Lucia is a bit of a schizophrenic. She hears voices in her head, telling her what God wants her to do. She believes them to be the voices of angels in Heaven. Whatever the voices say, whether it be to pray or to kill in the name of God, she will do. It is most likely that this is a side effect of all the different tests that were preformed on her when she was kept in the hospital. Most times she is able to keep herself under control, able to think clearly. But when her mind is under extreme stress then she will lose control and listen to the voices. Which will, more often than not, tell her to destroy whatever it is that is causing the stress.
Sample RP: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name‘s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and staff, they comfort me. Thou prepares a table for me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” Lucia Ashford huddled in the corner of a small room, a bible in her hands. By light of candle, she re-read the same psalm over and over, rocking back and forth slightly as she did. Her white dress, made of only cotton, was not nearly enough to shield her from the cold of the rainy night.
Outside the rain poured down, thunder shook the foundation of the house, and strikes of lightening lit up the small room for only a few seconds a time. Lucia chewed on the nail of her fight forefinger, muttering the psalm over and over, as though it were a magic charm that would shield her from the horrid weather. She was in the middle of one of her break downs, a time when all reason and sanity left her and she gave her mind over to the voices that resided in her mind. Keep reading, they whispered. Lucia obeyed, wanting to be safe from the weather. No, not from the weather; from what she believed to be God’s wrath.
