X-Men Forever - Maintenance Mode Enabled

The time of the Phoenix was a harsh reality for all those that were around at the time, yet even then they thought it was the worst thing that could happen in the war, between Mutants and Humans, but sadly it was but the beginning of what is to come. For the Mutants, the so called Cure, is or was the least of their worries, as everyone who had gotten the cure, their powers have returned, many at or above their original power level, while others struggle to grasp the control they once had, before they got the cure.

But it is not easy, for as I write this, there are Humans who are working to remove the so called Mutant Menace from the world, and their methods are not the most human, they are capturing Mutants and preforming tests, that would make you lose your lunch in a heartbeat, those unfortunate enough to get caught are subjected to the worst anyone can think of, and their living conditions are not much better, some plain cells, but the lucky ones, if you can call them that are kept in the medical cells, but these people are at the mercy of their captors.

However that is but only the start of the problems that not only threaten the Mutants but also the Humans, only problem is, can they put aside their differences in order to save their world, from being enslaved by one of the most powerful beings of all eternity, that will lead to the end of the world.

P.S. Xavier, Scott and Jean are all alive, and have been back at the institute for about 6 months now. Also, Additional information on plot may be found HERE!!!
